International Day of Remembrance of Chornobyl is marked again on April 26 in Ukraine and around the world.
In 2016 comes the anniversary of 30 years since the day of the tragedy, which had left great human and environmental consequences for the planet and humanity.
It is important to remember mistakes of the past and take them into account for future generations of humanity.
Life and health are those basic values that we are given by the nature since our birth, that we have to preserve during the whole life. Such man-made tragedies as the Chornobyl tragedy spare noone and respond to deterioration of the nation’s health for years to come.
Ukrainian public organization of handicapped “Advocacy Association of Disabled” is grieving with everybody for the losses of lives and health of our nation, as well as for the lost resources of purity and ecology of our planet as a result of the Chornobyl disaster. We hope that such values of humanity as life, health, peace, culture, welfare will always come first and ensure the prevention of humanity from fatal errors. We also believe that such tragedies in the history of mankind are sufficient for the memory of mankind for not to be repeated, and not to increase the number of people with disabilities on the planet.
Let the people’s hearts fill with kindness, bodies and lives with force, mind with good thoughts.
