The end of the school year is drawing quite near and all the kids are looking forward to sunny and warm summer and summer break, while a cultural and spiritual development of children with special needs carries on.
We are grateful to the National Academic Ivan Franko Drama Theatre in Kyiv for the opportunity to attend to a magnificent, modern, costumed Ukrainian classic play “Natalka Poltavka” based on the novel by Ivan Kotlyarevskyy and staged on May 24, 2016.
Children with special needs liked the modern setting, the music, the interpretation, the atmosphere of elation. It should be stressed that the leader of musical band “VV” and famous cultural activist Oleh Skrypka had adapted classical music of the play to modernity.
We hope and believe that such joint regular Ukraine-wide events organized by us together with other cultural and entertainment venues and organizations with children with special needs visiting performances, concerts, and other activities all help them better adapt, feel more confident, secure, important and necessary to our society and keep their hearts and memory full of pleasant memories from childhood that will motivate and give strength and inspiration for the future.
